By the time you hear about a new scam, you might have already fallen for it.
Traditional awareness campaigns teach you what happened to others, but they can’t prepare you for what’s coming next.

We detect a new scam variant via ScamShield

We recreate and send you a safe version of the scam

You experience the scam safely and build immunity
Once we're ready, we move you from the waitlist to an actual subscriber.
When we detect a new variant, we'll send you a safe version via call or WhatsApp.
After the simulation, you get a full debrief explaining the scam and how to spot it.
We have placed built-in safety measures to ensure you're never at real risk.

Yes. The scams we send you are simulations — crafted to look and feel like the real thing, but with every harmful element removed. They cannot take your money, install anything, or hand your data to a third party, and every message is labelled after the fact so you know it came from us.
Scam Vaccine is built by Open Government Products, an experimental development team that builds technology for the public good — from better apps for citizens to automating the internal operations of public agencies. Our goal is to make Singapore a model for how governments can use technology to improve lives. Our products include ScamShield, RedeemSG, and ActiveSG.
We collect your name, Singapore mobile number, and age range — only what we need to send you the OTP and tailor the trial. We keep it for up to 12 months and you can ask us to delete it anytime. Read more on our privacy page.
There isn’t a fixed schedule. We only send simulations when we detect a scam pattern worth training for, so some periods may be quiet and others may have an occasional exercise. We keep the volume low and will check in if you stop engaging.
If you reach the end of the simulation, you will receive a debrief via a gov.sg link over WhatsApp which will contain the red flags in the scam, what you caught, and what to watch for next time. If you don’t reach the end, we will still keep you informed via official channels like gov.sg SMS through the number that you signed up with, with the same information.
Have a query, facing an issue, or want to share feedback? Reach out to us at support@scamvaccine.gov.sg and we’ll get back to you within three working days.
